We are just putting the finishing touches to our long-awaited ‘Broadside Bangers’ album – this will be released by the good folks at Croustpop Records (a new folk-based imprint from Krautpop Records) VERY SOON in 2025. Details will be here as soon as we confirm dates.

Because of the sheer length and dynamic range of this epic work, we have decided to eschew vinyl and go with a CD release. After toying with other formats and ridiculous ideas such as streaming, we have decided that CDs are the way forward. A vinyl release would have meant losing some of the long tracks (such as the signalman), or investing thousands of pounds on a double album release. We are skint but proud of our work, CD means we can present it exactly as recorded and sell it at a reasonable price to fund our ongoing activities. I appreciate that many people don’t have CD playing hardware any more, so we will happily put the album on bandcamp for download and streaming.

We also put our music other services, including those whose ethical and financial ideas are at odds with our own – however we would urge those of you listening on these to consider supporting us in other ways which might help us to continue as musicians… come to gigs, buy a T-shirt or even a decorative CD.
